Le volumineux \u00ab Num\u00e9ro sp\u00e9cial 77 ans \u00bb du journal Tintin<\/em> qu\u2019ont publi\u00e9 conjointement Moulinsart et le Lombard s\u2019est d\u2019embl\u00e9e class\u00e9 parmi les toutes meilleures ventes de la rentr\u00e9e. Ses 400 pages revisitent l\u2019histoire du journal \u00e0 travers pr\u00e8s de 70 histoires courtes ressuscitant les h\u00e9ros qui ont fait sa l\u00e9gende, de Michel Vaillant \u00e0 Tounga, de Bernard Prince \u00e0 Thorgal. La plupart des contributeurs sont des dessinateurs et dessinatrices relativement jeunes, qui n\u2019ont pas connu les grandes heures de l\u2019hebdomadaire bruxellois. Alix Garin, qui d\u00e9die ses pages sensibles au personnage de Pompon dans la s\u00e9rie de Franquin Modeste et Pompon<\/em>, confesse (p. 208) ne l\u2019avoir jamais lu. De Fabcaro \u00e0 Franck Biancarelli, ils sont sans doute un certain nombre \u00e0 \u00eatre dans ce cas. Mais si les \u00e9diteurs ont surtout sollicit\u00e9 des artistes de la bande dessin\u00e9e actuelle, des \u00ab\u00a0chevaux de retour \u00bb ayant apport\u00e9 autrefois leur contribution au journal, tels Cosey, Dany, Derib ou Hermann, sont \u00e9galement de la partie.<\/p>\n

Il faut bien reconna\u00eetre que, limit\u00e9es \u00e0 quelques pages, la plupart des histoires sont anecdotiques et ne d\u00e9passent pas le niveau du clin d\u2019\u0153il un peu vain. On remarquera que les quelques rares personnages \u00e0 recevoir plus d\u2019un hommage sont Ric Hochet, Blake et Mortimer et Buddy Longway, alors que n\u2019apparaissent pas au sommaire Chevalier Ardent ou Chick Bill, ni aucune des cr\u00e9ations de Raymond Reding, ni surtout\u2026 Tintin, Moulinsart et Nick Rodwell s\u2019\u00e9tant certainement oppos\u00e9s \u00e0 ce que le reporter \u00e0 la houpette revienne sous un autre crayon que celui d\u2019Herg\u00e9. Fran\u00e7ois Boucq assure le liant en ponctuant le volume d\u2019interventions de son personnage de J\u00e9r\u00f4me Moucherot, qui cherche \u00e0 rencontrer tel et tel h\u00e9ros ayant fait les grandes heures de l\u2019hebdo pour lui vendre des assurances.<\/p>\n

Il est frappant de constater \u00e0 quel point les grands magazines qui ont marqu\u00e9 l\u2019histoire du genre dans l\u2019espace francophone cristallisent la nostalgie des b\u00e9d\u00e9philes, et combien les \u00e9diteurs eux-m\u00eames paraissent ne pas se consoler de leur disparition. Apr\u00e8s les Humano\u00efdes associ\u00e9s ressuscitant M\u00e9tal hurlant<\/em> dans une formule combinant reprises et cr\u00e9ations, Dargaud qui, de 2003 \u00e0 2010, avait publi\u00e9 cinq hors-s\u00e9rie th\u00e9matiques de Pilote<\/em>, et les diverses relances avort\u00e9es de Pif<\/em>, cette initiative du Lombard en annonce-t-elle d\u2019autres\u00a0? A quand le grand retour de Coq Hardi<\/em>\u00a0?<\/p>\n
